Message to School Community / Mensaje a la Comunidad de la Escuela

Message to our friends and family, to our community, to our staff, and, most importantly, to our students and parents who look to us for leadership and guidance.

The racism and systemic oppression that has marginalized minority groups has gone on for far too long. We too are angry and scared over the brutality on black lives and the racial injustice that persists in our country, and the world.

As a school we have committed ourselves to helping students re-imagine a world filled with equality and justice.

We stand in solidarity with the Black community, and we urge for us to band together during these uncertain times.

We encourage you to have discussions and to check in with your students, so they too can process the ongoing events.

Feel free to reach out to us for support.

What is MSTMA!!!!! Take a quick little glance who we are!!!!!

Math Science Technology Magnet Academy (MSTMA) is a
state and nationally recognized school located within the

the unique opportunity to enjoy the history and traditions of
Roosevelt High School while having the advantage of receiving
an education from a CA Gold Ribbon School. MSTMA students
who are involved in sports or extra-curricular activities
represent Roosevelt and the community of Boyle Heights but
still get the feel of the small school Magnet family.
